Embossing again!?Posted on June 12th, 2009 @ 5:49 pm
Hi – Yep. Embossing again. Clear embossing no less. But hey, at least it’s not another orange card! :] I do seem to find a rut and stick to it…. Anyhow, here is a butterfly card made with the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set. The branch is clear embossed on the Chocolate Chip panel and the butterfly is clear embossed and cut out.

And just because I must have been on a roll, I embossed the frame under the “for you” as well. Might need to look into getting a holster for my heat gun…Apparently I need it ‘at the ready’ at all times…. Hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by -

New In Colors are here!Posted on June 10th, 2009 @ 11:28 pm
Hi – My sneak peek package arrived from Stampin’ Up! Woohoo! I got together with my stampin’ buddy Julie today and we make these three cards. Her’s are a little different than mine so be sure to hop over to www.thoughtsthatstick.blogspot.com to check out her twist! We usually have very similar taste but today she was a “melon mambo/rich razzleberry” girl and I was stuck on the bermuda bay and soft suede!
This is the Bermuda Bay/Soft Suede card that was stamped in Versamark and then clear embossed with the Eastern Blooms stamp set. The Sanded background stamp was used on the base and the blue piece. Love the matching ribbon tied off with a piece of hemp twine!
This card has a Rich Razzleberry card base and uses the *new* Circle Circus stamp set. Added a few rhinestone and filigree brads here and there for some razzle-dazzle! :] heehee Ink colors are Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Crushed Curry.
This last card is a pocket card made with the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and a Melon Mambo base. The criss-cross is made with the small pennant from the pennant die for the Big Shot. The inner piece that’s Curry and white pulls out and can be written on.
So many beautiful things in the new catalog! Can’t wait to share more – thanks for stopping by -

Do daisies shine?!Posted on June 10th, 2009 @ 8:56 am
Hi – I’m not sure daisies are a shiny flower but today, they shine! These are the Upsy Daisies again. This time I stamped them in Versamark on glossy white paper and clear embossed them. Then I used a sponge to add the colors – So Saffron, Morning Marigold and Pumpkin Pie. First time I’d tried this technique and I kinda like it! Let me know if you have any questions. Hope you like it too! Thanks for stopping by -
