Merci, it’s a flower pot!Posted on April 22nd, 2009 @ 11:45 pm
Hi – Tonight I finished another “merci” card in the Bella Rose DSP colors but without the Bella Rose… Opted for plain cardstock instead. I made the little flower pot out of a scrap of Chocolate Chip; just folded over about 3/8″ at the top and then angled a cut from the fold line to the bottom. The flower is from the Birds & Blooms sizzlits die.
The outside layer of Kiwi Kiss was pierced and then faux stitched with a white gel pen. And this time I added the “merci” from the Springtime in Paris stamp set to the bottom on punched ovals and tucked it under the top layers. Hope you like it! Thanks for visiting -

Simple Embossed CardPosted on April 15th, 2009 @ 11:50 pm
Hi – I’ve been working on a gift set for my sister-in-law that’s not quite done so I thought I’d post a card I made for my last Stamp Camp instead of skipping out! It’s a pretty simple card to make as long as you have a Big Shot die cut machine. The base of the card is white, the second layer is Certainly Celery (although it looks brighter than that in the picture…) and the top layer is Pretty in Pink. I embossed it in a contraband Cuttlebug embossing folder (gasp!) and rounded the corners of all three layers. The little flower and leaf were die cut from the Birds & Blooms Sizzlits set. The tiny half pearl makes an elegant little flower center, don’t you think?! The rest is fairly easy to put together. Thanks for stopping by!
