This is another card I made lots of to swap at convention.  It’s the same Animal Stories stamp set but the colors are brighter and I put them in a filmstrip. The spiral edge punch makes it easy.   The little hearts and the “love you” are from the Short & Sweet stamp set –one of my favorites!  The Designer Paper in the background is from the Island Oasis pack.  I used the stripes and the polka dots since I had to cut so many pieces.  The hearts are popped up on dimensionals.  Hope you like it!

The annual Stampin’ Up! convention starts tomorrow so I’m off to

Salt Lake City in the morning with 10,000 of my closest friends!  There will be tons to see, classes to take, demonstrations to watch and lots and lots of cards to swap!  I didn’t go over-board this year and I’m taking just a few different kinds…  It’s been an assembly line around here trying to get them all ready though.  Cut pieces, punch pieces, fold pieces, stamp pieces…and then put them all together!  Voila, the finished card…

I really like these colors together – so Saffron, Marina Mist, Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip.  The animals are from the Animal Stories stamp set and the words are from the Three Little Words stamp set.  I cut the H and the I out with my Big Shot and the Serif Essentials alphabet.  I hope the stampers I swap with like it too!

Hi – Remember the Partridge Family?!  These quails remind me of the partridges in the opening credits of that show – maybe it’s just me that sees that though!

Aren’t they cute?!  This is the first time I’ve inked up this set so I started with simple.  The set is called Happy Together.  The colors I used are Ruby Red (looks like Really Rust though…), Chocolate chip, Certainly Celery, Whisper White and the ribbon is So Saffron.  The baby quails are stamped in Crumb Cake.  Hope you like it!

Hi – …and I do care!  But in this case, that’s the name of the stamp set I used! It’s called Because I Care and it’s a sneak peek at a set that will be in the new catalog.  It has the beautiful hydrangea stamp, the “Because I care” sentiment, a “Thanks” and a few others too in the set.  For this card I used River Rock, Pretty in Pink, Basic Black and Whisper White.  I hope you like it!

Hi – Here’s a little something I made with my stampin’ buddy Julie a while back.  I found these cute little baskets at the store and we dressed them up with these big flowers.  They were cut with the Flower Folds die for the Big Shot, first from chipboard and then DSP.  The center has a treat cup in it with a few yards of So Saffron grosgrain ribbon coiled up.   Then I pushed a Pumpkin Pie corduroy button through the top.  The whole flower hangs from a book ring through a jumbo eyelet.  The crop-o-dile set the eyelet right through the basket.  Add some ribbon to the handle and it’s cute, cute!  Thanks for stopping by –

This is card #2 using the Welcome Neighbor DSP pack and the Good Neighbors stamp set.  The paper has the houses and the clouds on it already.  I stamped the roof pieces and extra clouds, cut them out and then popped them up on dimensionals.  The colors are Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Kraft with a bit of Soft Suede thrown in with the ribbon.  The twine piece ties the darker shade of brown back to the Kraft card base.  I kind of like the way the roof pieces aren’t exactly straight – gives them a bit of personality!  I think this would make a good card to give someone who is moving into a new house or moving away from your neighborhood.  Hope you like it!

Hi – Quick post today of a card I made last night while distracted watching the Olympics… The lion might be too small with everything else going on around him but the flowers I tried seemed too big.  I do like the lion though!  He’s from the Fox & Friends stamp set and I stamped him 3 times to get the popped out layers on his head.  The colors are Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and So Saffron.  All the ribbons are Stampin’ Up!  Hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping by –

Hi – Tonight’s post is of two quick cards I made a a week or so ago. I have a cute Christmas step card to share too but I haven’t been able to get a good photo yet!  I’ll try again tonight… Anyhow these two cards are simple and fun to make.  The first is a new baby card in So Saffron and Old Olive.  The second is a sympathy card in Very Vanilla and Baja Breeze.  Both would be very simple to change into birthday or thank you cards with a swap of the sentiment stamp and something other than the baby’s hand stamp.  Hope you like them!  Thanks for stopping by –
