Last of the card set....

Hi there - Here are the last 2 cards in the set - whew!  I promise you could still put more cards in if you wanted.  Someone asked me if I made all the cards when I had the class and the answer is no way!  We made the purse, added the purse embellishments and tag and made 8 cards but it was just 4 designs and we made 2 each.  That's much easier and quicker than 8 different cards.  And...we skipped the ruffle around the top of the purse edge.  My class that day was not feeling "too fussy" and liked their purses just fine without the fluff of the ruffle. Sometimes you gotta go with the flow. :)

This first card is a Crumb Cake base with a Pool Party layer and a DSP layer. (Everyday Enchantment DSP free during Sale-a-bration!)  The sentiment panel has the Scalloped Ribbon Border punch tucked behind each edge.  I stamped the sentiment, added the scalloped edge and then cut out the "V" from the end.  The butterflies are Calypso Coral and cut with the butterfly embosslit.  The largest has a piece of ribbon tied around the middle of his body.

This card is really pretty, I think.  The Poppy Parade DSP is bright and cheerful!  I punched the 1¾" circle out of the DSP and put the sentiment panel behind it.  The butterfly punch in Poppy Parade anchors the butterfly embosslit with a brad center.  Pretty easy, peasy.
And here's the whole project - purse and 8 cards!  It was a lot of fun to make and so simple to coordinate with the Everyday Enchantment DSP.  I looooove that paper!  You could adapt this project to your favorite DSP and colors.  And pick a stamp set of sentiments that works for you.  All these are birthday from On Your Birthday stamp set.  Lots of possibilities!
Hope you like them.  Holler if you have any questions.  Thanks for stopping by - kirstin
