Concord Crush version of Nature Walk

Hello – I’m still playing around with Nature Walk and liking the different ways the stamps can be used.  This card is one we made at my Stamp Camp last Friday night.  Easy to reproduce and I dusted of the Concord Crush since purple is not a color I use very often – if at all!  I’ve included the smaller picture of the first card made like this with Early Espresso, Marina Mist and So Saffron.

Mini Nature Walk…

Hi – Since I liked the last card so much, I made a mini version!  This one is 3x3 and very similar.  But – it looked a little pitiful all on it’s own so I made a coordinating card and then a box to put them in.  Might have gotten carried away a bit… :0)

This stamp set is not one I would usually be drawn to but I took a chance on something different and really like the results.  Hope you do too!

Peaceful Nature Walk…

Hi there – Today’s card is a pretty simple card to stamp and I love the serenity it seems to have.  The stamps are from the Nature Walk (W121925) stamp set in the Occasions Mini and the words are from Sincere Salutations (115068).  I stamped the floral stem many times in Old Olive – sometimes twice without reinking to get the lighter and darker parts.  The bees are stamped in Early Espresso and then cut out with snips and popped up on dimensionals.  Old Olive taffeta ribbon, a bow of linen thread and an antique brad finish it off.  I made several of this card and just changed the sentiment – I think it works well for a birthday, get well or thanks card too.

Lucky Day!

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day to all you shamrocks out there!  Here are some goodies I dolled up for the teachers at my son’s school.  The first is chocolate mints in a cello bag with a Top Note die topper. Punched out hearts make the shamrock.  The second is a variety of candy bars wrapped and decorated up with the “Just for You”, “Got Green” and the definition of lucky.  Simple and quick – which is what you need when you’re making 55 of them!  Thanks to my partner in ink Julie for helping me make them all – and for entertaining me while we stamped, glued and tied that ribbon.  Have a corned beef day!  Thanks for stopping by – kirstin
