A new catalog, new colors and a new stamp set…

Hi – The new catalog launched today and it’s a beauty!  Be sure to check it out at my website:  http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/kirstindavies/catalogs  The samples are just lovely!  I see something new each time I look at a page! :0)

Today’s card is made with a set that will be in the new catalog as a level 2 hostess set – which means you could earn it free with a workshop that totals $300 or more!  Free is always good….The set is called Apple Blossoms.  Three new ink colors were used here too:  Marina Mist, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake.

Hope you like it!  Give a shout if you have any questions or would like to talk stamps or place an order…I’d love to chat with you!

Thanks for stopping by -

Hi Kristin. I love this card, especially the colour combos. I am puzzled by the background: is it designer paper or did you stamp it? Would appreciate a reply, thanks.

Hi - thanks for the kind words about the card! The background is stamped - all stamped, no DSP. I used the stamp set "Apple Blossoms" in marina mist, early espresso and crumb cake inks and then the "Sanded" background stamp (item 109294, pg 142 of catalog) in Crumb Cake over it all. Hope that answers your question! Thanks, kirstin

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I guessed that you had used a background stamp but it looked so 'professional'...I went looking for what possible stamp you used...and eventually found it. I too am a Demonstrator so it will definitley be a 'need to buy' item for me. I would never have known what to do with that stamp - in fact, I didn't even know it existed! Have a nice day!
