Little Lion with Big Wishes….

Hi – Quick post today of a card I made last night while distracted watching thePicture or Video 059 Olympics… The lion might be too small with everything else going on around him but the flowers I tried seemed too big.  I do like the lion though!  He’s from the Fox & Friends stamp set and I stamped him 3 times to get the popped out layers on his head.  The colors are Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and So Saffron.  All the ribbons are Stampin’ Up!  Hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping by -

Cookie Roll

Hi there – Here’s a quick and fun way to dress up some cookies to give away.  There are a  dozen “out on the range” oatmeal and peanut butter  cookies rolled in saran wrap inside there.  I wrapped them in kraft paper  first and then used the Sending Love specialty paper.  I used the scallop edge punch to fancy up the edges too! :0)  The flower is 5 of the new Extra Large Fancy Flowers punched, scrunched and bunched in the middle with a red epoxy brad.

Mini Milk Cartons

Hi – Milk cartons were never this cute in the school lunch line!  Picture or Video 036 I love this new die for the Big Shot.  The milk cartons are easy to assemble, cut in one piece with all the score lines made for you.  Here I’ve made two matching ones and put them in a little holder with a handle.  The colors are So Saffron with Basic Black and Whisper White.  The Designer paper is called Night & Day.  My stampin’ buddy and I made these earlier this week. Hop on over to Julie’s blog to see hers in Tempting Turquoise and Black!  The scallop circle stamp is a freebie set called Vintage Labels from the Sale-a-bration catalog – it can be yours free too with any $50 purchase.  In this set, the stamps all coordinate with a punch from SU!  Here I used the scallop circle punch on the holder and the front of each milk carton.  Picture or Video 039 The little bird is a sizzlit die.  I cut out a ¾” circle from the front of each milk carton and covered it with acetate to give a peek of what might be inside!  White mints would be lovely in these or even chocolate covered raisins.  Hope you like them!   Holler if you have any questions and thanks for stopping by --

And a card rises from the scrap pile….

Hi – Odd title, eh?  But it fits what happened!  I was cleaning up my stamp table and putting away all the new goodies that had come.  I picked up the corner scallop edge punch to unwrap it and thought I needed to try it out – right now, skip the rest of the  cleaning!! So the closest scrap was a piece of Pretty in Pink….and the rest is history!  And no, I never did get back to finding the tabletop again. :0)  Story of my life.  Start one thing, do six or seven other things and then end up with something totally different.  Oh well – I think the card turned out to be pretty cute!  Picture or Video 035

I used the Sending Love Specialty paper and then added the flowers to match it.  The big flowers are made with the new flower punch from the Occasions mini.  I even added glitter since that little scalloped frame in the back needed a little foo-foo boost on the front of the card.  Hope you like it too!
