Square Gift Card Holders

Hi - Ever start out doing one thing and end up on a totally different road?!  I started out trying to find the table top in my stampin room and ended up making these gift card holders instead! :] I tried to clean up, honestly!  Actually in the process of cleaning and putting things away, I found a new package of 4½" square envelopes.  Hmm.  Must be a reason I have them...don't know what it is so I guess I'd better come up with something.  Here's what I made:

I cut my cardstock to 4 ¼" x 9" and scored it at 3" and 7 ¼".  The smaller section becomes the inside pocket.  I used brads to hold the sides of the pocket although sticky strip or eyelets would work as well.  Both use the Rockabilly DSP, Real Red and Basic Black.  The cherry one has Certainly Celery accents and the polka dotted one has So Saffron on it.  The big daisy is a die cut with the Big Shot.  The sentiments are both from the Garden Greetings stamp set.  Since the envelopes started the whole diversion, I had to dress them up a bit too!  Hope you like them!  Thanks for stopping by -
