Simple Thanks Card
Hi - Tonight's card was going for clean and simple, more stamping and less punches! The stamp set that the flowers are from is one of my new favorites called "Garden Greetings." I like the graphic look of the flowers and the variety of the sentiments - but for this card I used the "thank you" from a set in the new mini catalog called "Oval All" along with the coordinating scallop oval punch. Just had to have at least one punch on there! :] The colors are Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, Baja Breeze and Whisper White. I didn't have the right shade of blue ribbon so I used my Not Quite Navy marker to dye a piece of white grosgrain. Inside the card I added a white insert since the base piece is so dark and I stamped two flowers in the corner. Sure doesn't seem like such a simple card should have taken me over an hour to make, but it did... sometimes it goes like that! Thanks for stopping by.
PS - you can always click on the photos to see a larger image of them. :]
