Raspberry Tart Cards

Hi - I've had this Raspberry Tart paper for a while now and couldn't quite decide if I liked it or not.  After playing with it a bit, I've decided that I do like it a lot! :]  It's a bit more vibrant than the papers I usually reach for but it's good to try new things.  (At least that's what I tell my kids when I've made something 'weird' for dinner!)  The magazine file was originally from here but I altered it to fit regular sized cards.  I tried adding more detailed embellishing to these cards.  Hope you like them!  Thanks for stopping by -

newly-imported-101newly-imported-100The two flowers are made with parts of the scallop circle punch and the 3/4 " circle punch.  

 

newly-imported-0981The little buttons are threaded with skinny strips of kiwi kiss cardstock that I tied and then curled.  If you run the strips over the edge of your scissors first, it loosens the paper fibers and makes it easier to bend, tie and curl.

The flowers on this card are die cut from Birds & Blooms.

Oh these are so nice! I especially love how you created those flowers with the scallop punch and circle punches!! How very creative you are!
