Hey There!

Hi - A mid day post!  So unlike me to have something to post and it's not midnight! :]  The truth would be that I made this card last night and I'm just posting it now...  Anyhow, you know how you just love some colors and others just don't work for you?!  Pacific Point is one of those colors for me.  Not a favorite.  My friend Julie (also my upline :] ) and I were talking about that stack of Pacific Point cardstock that we both have staring at us.  What to do with it...  So we decided to see what we could come up with.  She posted her card designs last week at her wonderful blogsite (www.ThoughtsThatStick.blogspot.com) and since I was gone all weekend, I'm just getting to figuring out mine.  I decided to try a big flower on a Pacific Point background with the Good Morning Sunshine DSP as the ground.  I used my circle scissor plus to cut the curved stem from Kiwi Kiss and the Pick a Petal set for all the petals.  I cut a slot with the slot punch into the DSP layer and tucked the stem in there.  The leaves are just punched with the small scallop punch.  Add some Chocolate Chip ribbon, hemp twine to tie it and a flower button from the Button Latte collection and I was done!  Oh - and the "hey there" is from the Really Retro set.  Now I'm done. :]  Hope you like it!
